Flavors of Umbria:

A Journey Through Italy's Heart

Slow Food, Hill Towns and Local Connection

Picture this…

You're standing in the middle of a small village piazza, the only foreigner in sight. A baker waves from his storefront. A scent of rosemary and fresh bread drifts by. In your hand? A glass of local Sagrantino wine poured by someone who made it two hills over.....

This isn’t Tuscany’s tourist trail—it’s Umbria: quieter, deeper, and somehow more yours.

Earlier, you explored Assisi’s ancient streets with a local guide who grew up there.

Tomorrow, you’ll forage truffles with a farmer and her dog, then cook what you find in her family’s rustic kitchen. One night, you’ll dine by candlelight at a vineyard, laughter echoing between stone walls. Another, you’ll watch the sun dip below olive trees as a winemaker tells you how his family has pressed oil the same way for generations.

Between it all, there’s time to pause. To feel. To connect—with the land, the food, and the stories that live in every bite and breeze.

This isn't a tour. It's Italy at its most real, most intimate - and most delicious.

This is just one version of a journey we can create. Specific experiences and availability may vary—but the heart of the trip will always be thoughtfully designed around you.
